Our Story
From Kickstarter to the Theater
In June of 2023, we began a Kickstarter Campaign with only 30 days to generate $6,000 for our film budget. This $6,000 would be used for camera gear, travel costs, food for cast/crew, theater costs, etc. In the film industry, $6,000 can be one actor's salary for a week, but to our team, it was an enormous amount of money to utilize in getting this film off the ground.
With this being our first experience trying to crowd-fund or work with a budget of any measurable amount, we were considerably nervous for the results.
After sending hundreds of emails, text messages, phone calls, social media posts, etc. we had 66 incredible supporters help us raise $6,300 in 30 days. Because of this absolute miracle, we were able to continue our production and finish everything we needed to within our allotted budget.
We are beyond grateful to be at this stage in post-production and look forward to sharing our creative work with the world. Please come and enjoy the show!
A Look Behind the Scenes
From pre-production to production to post-production, this film took 14 months to bring to life. Over the course of 10 days, "Wanderer" was filmed in various locations throughout North-East Idaho and Northern Utah.
The cast and crew were comprised of 35 individuals who spent many hours on set for each film session. These photos show some behind-the-scenes moments during the film process.
